What Is It?
Podcast engagement reporting is a crucial tool for creators to assess their content’s effectiveness and understand audience listening habits. This feature provides essential reporting capabilities, allowing you to answer questions such as:
- How are my podcasts performing over time?
- What devices are my listeners using?
- What web browsers are they listening from?
- How many times is each episode played?
- Which episodes are the most popular, and how does that change?
- Where are listeners tuning in from (Apple Podcasts, Spotify)?
- What are the geographical locations of my audience?
- Which of my contacts are listening (based on website plays)?
Note: Podcast analytics data is only available after August 15, 2024.
Why Does It Matter?
HubSpot previously lacked built-in analytics for podcasts. This update equips users with insights for data-driven decisions, enabling them to optimize their content and improve their podcast and strategy.
How Does It Work?
To get started:
- Navigate to Content > Podcasts.
- In the top left, click the Podcast Show dropdown menu and select the podcast show you’re interested in.
- At the top, right below the previous dropdown, click on the Analyze tab.
- Here, you will be able to see various reports and adjust the frequency of your data (daily, weekly, monthly) and other metrics.
