HubSpot's New Offline Event Data Import Feature

HubSpot’s latest update allows you to import offline event data directly into HubSpot. In this blog post, we'll explore what this new feature entails, why it's a game-changer, and how it can improve your event management processes.

What is it?

HubSpot has recently launched a new feature that enables users to seamlessly import all their offline (in-person) event data into the platform. This new functionality complements existing integrations for online (virtual) events, making HubSpot a centralized hub for all marketing event activities. You can now easily manage and automate your event activities using HubSpot's features, including lists, reports and campaigns, which provide insights into event information and attendee performance.

Why Does it Matter?

Offline and online marketing event data are essential to many users’ marketing strategies. By consolidating all event data within HubSpot, users gain a comprehensive view of their event landscape and leverage HubSpot's tools to streamline event management tasks.

With the ability to import offline event data, users can now manage in-person and virtual events seamlessly within HubSpot, eliminating the need for multiple platforms and ensuring a single source for all event-related information.

How Does it Work?

Here's a step-by-step guide to importing offline event data into HubSpot:

  1. Access HubSpot Marketing events from the core HubSpot object dropdown list.
  2. Create a marketing event page to store your imported data.
  3. Enter event details and create the event page.
  4. On the event page, click "import event contacts" in the "Actions" dropdown.
  5. Select the type of data you wish to import and upload the file.
  6. Map your file headers to contact and attendance properties in HubSpot.
  7. Add final details and click “Finish Import.”
  8. Monitor import status and review imported data on the event page.
  9. Explore attendee data and event-related activities within HubSpot.

    Who Gets it?

This exciting feature will be available to all HubSpot users of Marketing events. If you're interested in participating in the beta or sharing feedback, contact your HubSpot representative to request inclusion.
