What's New?
HubSpot users with CMS Enterprise, CMS Pro, Marketing Enterprise, Marketing Pro, Ops Enterprise, Ops Pro, Sales Enterprise, Sales Pro, Service Enterprise and Service Pro can rejoice at the arrival of the Undo/Redo feature on the workflows canvas. This addition brings unprecedented control and ease to your workflow design process.
Why Does It Matter?
We've all been there – a click too many, an accidental delete – and suddenly, your carefully crafted workflow is not as you intended. With the new Undo/Redo feature, those mistakes need not haunt you. Here's why it matters:
Mistakes Are Temporary: Software should empower, not penalize. Previously, if you accidentally added or deleted a workflow action, there was no way to undo (or redo) that change. Now, with the Undo/Redo feature, you can seamlessly navigate through your actions, correcting errors as if they never happened.
Boosts Productivity: Mistakes can disrupt your workflow, but not anymore. With the ability to undo and redo changes, you can stay in your creative zone without the fear of irreversible errors. It's a productivity boost, allowing you to experiment, refine and innovate confidently.
How Does It Work?
Utilizing the Undo/Redo feature is a breeze:
- Go to the Edit Workflow Canvas to build a new or edit an existing workflow.
- Spot the two new buttons on the top left of the editor for undoing and redoing workflow actions.
- Click the undo button to remove actions added during the session.
- Click the redo button to re-add actions that were deleted during a session.
It’s important to remember only changes made within the last 30 days can be undone. The feature won't work for workflows with extension actions or custom code actions, and it won't apply to moving or cloning actions. Each undo and redo creates a revision of the workflow, accessible in the workflow changes tab.
