Crop Your Social Media Images Directly in HubSpot’s Mobile App

HubSpot’s recent mobile update adds an image cropping tool that enables marketers to easily modify social media images while drafting posts in the HubSpot mobile app. Whether you’re on iOS or Android, this feature helps you adjust your visuals for various platforms, ensuring your posts are polished and flawless.

What’s New?

With this update, you can now crop and adapt your social media images directly within the HubSpot mobile app:

• iOS Users: Automatically correct Instagram aspect ratio errors with a simple cropping tool that appears whenever an image doesn’t fit.
• Android Users: Crop any image for all social networks, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, without leaving the app.

How Does It Work?

For iOS Users:

1. Open the HubSpot Mobile App and go to Marketing Home > Social.
2. Tap the floating navigation button and select + Post.
3. Choose the Instagram accounts you want to post from the modal showing your connected accounts.
4. Select the Stories option (or choose from Reels, Posts or Stories).
5. Upload your image. If the aspect ratio is incorrect, a banner with an option to resolve it will pop up.
6. Click the banner and crop your image to the desired aspect ratio.
7. Save your changes, and you’ll return to the post-creation flow, ready to publish your story!
   
   

For Android Users:

1. Open the HubSpot Mobile App and go to Marketing Home > Social.
2. Tap the floating navigation button and select + Post.
3. Choose the social accounts you want to post to from the modal showing your connected accounts.
4. Upload your image. When previewing your post, click on the image and select Crop the image.
5. Adjust the image as needed for the chosen social network.
6. Save your changes, and you’ll return to the post-creation flow.

The cropping option is available on Android for Drafts and within each social network’s section (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram).
