Get ready for a whole new level of goal setting with a sleek, intuitive design that makes tracking your success easier than ever before.

 

Why Does It Matter?

Campaigns rely on clear and strategic goals, but the current reporting experience doesn’t fully support a goal-oriented approach.

Until now, campaign goals were limited in two ways:

  • A default "Campaign goal" property: disconnected from campaign reporting, making tracking progress difficult.
  • A simple "Edit campaign goals" modal: allowing you to set targets like ‘sessions,’ 'new contacts' and 'influenced contacts' but lacking flexibility, guidance and support for tracking other or newer metrics.

HubSpot is now introducing a smarter, more intuitive way to set, monitor and report on campaign goals–ensuring every campaign is set up for success.

 

How Does It Work?

  • On the Campaigns Performance page, click "set campaign goal" and "add goals."
  • Follow this simple 3-step setup process:
    • Choose a campaign goal from over 10+ default options. Examples include: Generate leads, reduce cost per contact, increase website traffic, boost revenue and more.
    • Add your goal details, including a goal name and the desired reporting frequency.
    • Set your goal targets to easily track progress and know when you’ve met your goals.

Once set up, you can access custom campaign goal reports under the Performance tab, giving you an at-a-glance view of your progress. You can also edit or delete goals from here.
