Introducing: Data Model Builder

HubSpot is launching a new, centralized workspace designed to simplify how you configure your data model. Easily view all your objects, create new ones and manage associations and properties–all in one place, and in context.

Why Does It Matter?

Building your data model in HubSpot can be overwhelming. It often requires understanding complex terms, navigating scattered settings and managing tasks in the right order, often without a clear starting point, which can create frustrations.

The Data Model Builder changes that. It brings everything together in a single, intuitive interface–making the entire process easier, faster and more transparent.

How Does It Work?

To get started:

1. Go to Data Management > Data Model.
2. Click "Edit Data Model" in the top right corner.

Once inside the builder, you can:

• Create custom properties
• View the top 10 most-used properties per object
• Create custom objects and associate them with others
• Export a visual snapshot of the canvas (objects and associations)
• View all associations related to a single object
• Add association labels and set limits
