If your team lives in Microsoft Teams but manages relationships in HubSpot, you’ve probably felt the pain of bouncing between platforms. Meeting notes get lost, follow-ups get delayed and customer context gets… fuzzy.
That’s why this new HubSpot and Microsoft Teams update is such a big deal. You can now automatically sync meeting recordings, transcript and attendee data from Teams straight into HubSpot, no extra clicks, no missing details.
What’s New
This integration (currently in public beta) makes your customer conversations work harder for you:
- Auto-sync meeting recordings and transcripts so your team can rewatch or review them in HubSpot anytime.
- Log participant data automatically, even creating new contacts for attendees who aren’t in your CRM yet.
- View a complete meeting list in HubSpot’s Call Index, filter by deal, contact or ticket.
- Preview calls right inside associated records without digging for links.
- Unlock HubSpot Conversation Intelligence for Teams calls: AI summaries, tracked keywords, call stats, coaching playlists and transcript commenting.
Why It Matters for Your Business
Think of every sales call, support check-in or project meeting you have. Now imagine:
- No lost notes. Everything lives in one place, tied directly to the right contact or deal.
- No guesswork. Your team can see the full conversation history before making the next call.
- Faster ramp-up. New team members can watch recordings or read transcripts to get up to speed.
- Better coaching. Leaders can review real calls, highlight wins and share learning moments.
This isn’t just convenience, it’s sales and service enablement. It turns every conversation into a long-term business asset.
How It Works
- Connect Microsoft Teams to HubSpot (make sure your admin uses the Full Install option).
- In the new Meetings tab of the integration, set your global and personal sync preferences.
- HubSpot creates a call record for every synced meeting, complete with video, transcript and any AI-powered insights (if you have Conversation Intelligence).
- All attendee data gets logged—and if someone’s new to your CRM, HubSpot creates their contact record automatically.
Who Can Use It
This update is available for HubSpot customers with:
- Microsoft 365 Business plans or Teams Premium licenses
- Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional/Enterprise (for Conversation Intelligence)
- Microsoft Teams integration installed with Full Install
Our Take
We love this update because it’s another step toward truly unified marketing, sales and service data. For our clients, it means:
- Shorter sales cycles with better-prepared teams
- Stronger customer relationships with richer context
- Less manual admin work so teams can focus on actual selling and serving
If you’re already using HubSpot and Microsoft Teams, turning this on is a no-brainer. If you’re not yet taking advantage of integrations like this, it’s time to talk.
