HubSpot has announced that Marketing Pro and Marketing Enterprise users can now
publish and track Instagram Reels directly within the platform. Reels are a powerful tool
for marketing teams to expand their audience, enhance engagement, drive traffic to
their profile, and increase brand awareness. Here’s how this new feature works.
How Creating a Post Works:
- Go to HubSpot's Marketing > Social.
- Click Create Social Post in the top right.
- Pick the Instagram accounts you’d like to post it to from the dropdown.
- Choose Reels.
- Select your desired video file in "Add Media."
- Check to make sure your video meets IG Reels requirements.
- You have the option to maintain or turn off the Share to Feed feature. Enabling this will display your reel on your main profile grid.
- You can choose to boost engagement and reach by adding a location tag.
- To update your video thumbnail, select the video thumbnail to view your video files.
- Hover over the video you want to upload and click Details.
- Under the file Details, select Change and then Change thumbnail details. This allows you to update the video thumbnail.
Following these steps will allow you to publish reels through HubSpot easily. If you’d like to track their performance, follow the steps below.
To View Instagram Reels Data:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
- On the Manage tab, you will see a list of your social posts.
- You can use the dropdown to filter your Instagram accounts
- You can see all Instagram posts and their associated metrics (Video views and Reach)
- You can also download a spreadsheet of your posts by clicking Export Posts in the upper right.
- Your spreadsheet will include additional Instagram Reach metrics.
