If you've ever scrolled through a report or record list and hit a wall of long, clunky URLs, you'll appreciate this one. HubSpot has rolled out link text for URL properties. This is a simple update, but one that is much needed.
URL properties can now display a short label instead of the raw web address. When creating or editing a URL property, you can now create a short label that appears on every record using that property, such as "View profile," "Open listing," or "Open document."
This isn’t earth-shattering or anything, but if you’re managing a lot of records, raw URLs can be a headache to look at. They’re harder to scan through, and things can get lost. By putting a clear label on them, it’s easier to keep track of where everything is.
For us, and for you, this means cleaner reports and less time spent hunting for the right link in a sea of URLs.
This update is available across all hubs and tiers.
